At least seven companies, including Global Infrastructure Partners, NextEra Energy Inc, Blackstone Group and KKR, are looking to buy renewable energy assets from NRG Energy Inc, Bloomberg reported Aug. 11. NRG is looking to divest as much as $4 billion worth of assets, including its stake in solar and wind farm owner NRG Yield Inc, Bloomberg said. NRG, a U.S. power generator, has come under pressure from billionaire investor Paul Singer to streamline, the story said.
