J.W. Childs to fund A4

J.W. Childs Associates is providing growth funding to A4, an Ann Arbor, Michigan-based provider of anesthesia and pain management services. As part of the transaction, J.W. Childs will merge A4 with portfolio company Siromed, a provider of anesthesiology physician services to hospitals, ASCs and other healthcare facilities. No financial terms were disclosed. Houlihan Lokey and Sheppard Mullin advised A4 on the deal while McDermott Will & Emery advised J.W. Childs and Siromed.

Childs Associates (“J.W. Childs”), a leading Boston based middle-market private equity firm. As part of the transaction, J.W. Childs will provide growth equity capital to support A4’s continued expansion and A4 will combine with J.W. Childs’ existing portfolio company Siromed.
