KKR has closed its previously announced acquisition of Landover, Maryland-based RBmedia, an audiobook publisher, from Shamrock Capital. No financial terms were disclosed.

LOS ANGELES – August 31, 2018 – Shamrock Capital, a Los Angeles-based investment firm, today announced that it has completed the sale of its portfolio company, RBmedia, the largest independent publisher of audiobooks in the world, to KKR. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
