Main Street Capital Corp has invested $35.2 million in St. Louis, Missouri-based DPI Inc, a provider of consumer electronics products. The transaction, which was done with an unnamed co-investor, was to facilitate a minority recapitalization of DPI.

(“DPI” or the “Company”), a leading designer, developer, and distributor of a broad assortment of consumer electronics to national retailers under several proprietary brands. Main Street, along with a co-investor, partnered with the Company’s management team to facilitate the transaction, with Main Street funding $35.2 million in a combination of first-lien, senior secured term debt and a direct equity investment.
