Nordic Capital has dropped out of the auction to buy the European generics business of
Sanofi because of high price expectations, the Financial Times reported. Advent International, BC Partners and Carlyle Group made it to the second round, the story said. Sanofi’s generics business was expected to sell for 2 billion euros.
