Silver Lake is shifting some of its stake in Dell Technologies to a new fund so that it can hold it longer, Bloomberg is reporting. Silver Lake is moving a stake worth about $1 billion from its third fund to its newest investment fund, Silver Lake Partners V, the story said. The firm is moving the rest of its Dell holding to a special purpose vehicle held by investors of the original fund, the story said.
