Vista to invest in Jamf

Vista Equity Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Jamf, a provider of Apple device management solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017. Goldman Sachs served as financial adviser to Jamf while Morgan Stanley and Piper Jaffray did likewise for Vista.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN–(Marketwired – Oct 11, 2017) – Jamf, the leader in Apple device management, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to receive a majority investment by Vista Equity Partners (“Vista”), a leading investment firm focused on software, data and technology-enabled businesses. The transaction will allow Jamf to accelerate its growth and innovation through focused investment and strategic acquisitions that drive its mission to help organizations manage Apple devices.
