Acacia Partners said Feb. 6 that it sold its investment in Perennials & Sutherland LLC. Bertram Capital is investing in the company. Financial terms weren’t announced. Perennials, of Dallas, designs and makes 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic performance fabric and rugs for indoor and outdoor use and luxury outdoor furniture. Piper Jaffray advised Perennials & Sutherland while McGuire Woods served as legal counsel.

February 6^th, 2019 – Acacia Partners is proud to announce the successful exit of its investment in Perennials & Sutherland, LLC, a Dallas, TX based designer and manufacturer of 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic performance fabric and rugs for indoor and outdoor use and luxury outdoor furniture.

During Acacia’s ownership, Perennials & Sutherlands experienced rapid growth while Acacia worked in close partnership with the founders to continue to invest in its brands, operational infrastructure, and management team to position the company for continued growth.  Importantly, this growth was achieved while maintaining Acacia’s promise to the founders, David and Ann Sutherland, that company culture, product quality and brand integrity would never be sacrificed.

David Sutherland, founder and Chairman of the Board stated, “We could not have asked for a better partner than Acacia.  They were instrumental in the growth we achieved in recent years. In addition to being great collaborators in business, I consider them great friends.”
